Who am I?
My name is David Shapcott, I am in my late 30s and I graduated Nottingham Trent University in August 2026. I am very passionate about games, being a gamer from a very young age. However, when I got a little older, I started to get more interested into what went into making games rather than just playing them and I started to look into it more.
Unfortunately, life started to get in the way a little and unfortunately, I didn’t make the decision to go back to college to study games development until my early 30s. But it was one of the best decisions I ever made.
Who are Diamond Worlds Digital?
Diamond Worlds Digital (DWD) is a small independent games studio that a friend and I set up during my first year of college. The idea initially started as a joke whilst we were at work, but we became more serious about it after I started at Confetti.
We are both passionate about creating great and memorable games that people simply play and enjoy. We have plenty of ideas floating around our heads and we wish to create these and release them.
